Computer Peas Debuts at Modesto, CA in Feb, 2004 |
|||
| The earliest version of Computer Peas was used back in February, 2004, at the Presidents' Day tournament at T's Lounge in Modesto, CA. The software handled registration and event sign up chores. In addition, the program avoided the need to use a bottle of Peas, by drawing teams by a simple mouse click. | ![]() |
Throughout the tournament, and in the days and weeks that followed, ideas for features that could greatly ease the tasks involved in running a tournament began to surface. One of the big ideas, which at that time was thought by many to be nearly impossible, was the notion that actual chart creation and updating could be done by computer software. | |
